Our Initial Challenge
Isthus Engineering came to us having tried out video for themselves. After dabbling in in-house production and editing, they felt their results weren’t reaching the level of professionalism they were striving for.
Though they consider themselves a small business, the nature of their product means they compete on a larger scale. Building high-end (high-dollar) machines, they needed marketing materials to demonstrate that value.
On one hand, they needed a partner who understands the needs of a small business, being mindful of factors like flexibility, budget, and collaboration. On the other hand, they needed professional video on par with that of larger companies. As a lean crew with high-end production experience, Spoken Frame Media fit the bill.
Our Project Objective
For this project, we were called in to create product videos to highlight the automated equipment. With a distinct schedule, we pivoted to their needs, accommodating their filming availability and communication process.
Our Approach
Each shot was planned, turning the machines on and off during shooting to avoid wasted material. With a tall warehouse ceiling, we were able to fly our drone indoors and capture footage of the equipment from above. In editing, we added animated text to the video to call out unique pieces of the equipment in action.
Our Results
Isthmus Engineering uses their videos across their trade shows, marketing strategies, and sales functions. As a smaller company with a modest marketing presence, they’ve invested in video as a core component of their professional image. Not only does this content demonstrate their expertise and competence, but it also shows their customers what’s possible.
