Case Study: Prescient Capital - A Message To Investors
Client Overview
Prescient Capital is a specialty finance company. As a private debt fund, they focus on lending into cash-flowing commercial real estate. Their typical borrowers are successful real estate owners who’ve found themselves in quick loan scenarios. They receive over 6 billion dollars in loan requests annually and lend to clients nationwide.
Our Initial Challenge
Prescient’s borrowers are often successful people who’ve ended up in anomaly situations. The company’s biggest challenge was conveying this to its investors. Prescient does not do distressed lending, but rather distressed timing situations. A thoughtful video would help demonstrate how they’re solving client’s quick funding needs (without putting investor money at risk).
Our Project Objective
Trusting Spoken Frame Media to handle the ins and outs of video production, Prescient Capital sent us on a cross-country mission. Our project objective was to capture a series of testimonials that showed investors the success stories of Prescient’s borrowers.
Our Approach
This project required significant travel. We drove throughout the Midwest to film in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri. To film in Texas, we hopped on a plane with our beloved equipment in tow. We used a rental site to ship and return lighting equipment to a FedEx office, which proved useful for our larger pieces of gear.
With each subject, we coordinated two-hour time blocks for setup and conducting interviews. Because we were ready to go when the interviewees arrived, we filmed what we needed in under 20 minutes.
Our Results
